ONLINE COURSES
For ALL online courses, we use Zoom as the teaching platform. All Zoom links, digital downloads, and course materials will be emailed to students during the last week before the course begins. Please follow all instructions carefully for the digital downloads and report any issues immediately by emailing nicrt.academy@gmail.com.
We use instructors from various states, so please check the class times for your time zone. If you are not present and participating for the full “contact time” specified by the ICISF for each course, you fail to meet the requirements to earn your certificate.
Please check your computer video and audio settings before the course begins and be online promptly at the time given in the course registration information so that we can ensure that your digital student manuals download correctly and that your Zoom links, camera, and sound are working. Cameras must be always on during the entire course to ensure full student participation.
IN-PERSON COURSES
Registration for In-Person Courses closes one month before the course begins to allow for plenty of time to order and ship all printed student manuals and course materials. Please arrive on time, to allow for check-in at the door, and to obtain your student manuals and any necessary handouts.
Cancellation Policy
• Cancellations made more than 30 days before the class date will receive a full refund or credit for a future class at The Academy-NICRT.
• Cancellations made 15-30 days before the class date will receive full credit for a future class at The Academy-NICRT.
• Cancellations made less than 14-7 days before the class will receive a 50% partial credit for that same class at The Academy-NICRT on a future date.
• Cancellations made during the last week before the class and no-shows forfeit the entire course fee. **
**PLEASE NOTE: Any student who needs to cancel at the last minute due to a dire personal emergency, please contact us as soon as possible before the scheduled class, by email at nicrt.academy@gmail.com and write URGENT in the subject line.
Class Cancellation or Rescheduling by The Academy-NICT
The Academy-NICRT may need to cancel or reschedule a class in an emergency or hardship involving an instructor, or in severe weather. Registered students will have the option to receive a full refund or a credit for a future class at The Academy-NICRT.
NOTE: The Academy-NICRT is committed to providing dependable, quality training and instruction! Since 2008, The Academy-NICRT has only canceled and rescheduled 5 out of approximately 100 classes due to severe weather or an instructor family emergency.
Meals During Classes
All meals are on your own unless otherwise stated in the course registration information. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
